About

I consider myself a visual artist as it is an umbrella term that describes all art forms. I am currently specialising in photography, acquiring a BA at The Royal Academy Of Art- The Hague. I went through a long journey of experimenting with mixed media during my BA in Fine Arts at MCAST before I figured out that photography is my expressive language. I am a visual thinker and through the versatility and immediacy of photography I can explore and voice my opinion in what I can’t put into words. Photography is my visual tool that helps to construct the world I see and translate it into the most relatable world for others to see and understand my message. I like to deal with current socio-political topics such as how people behave in a public space, identity or how the modern-day woman is, as opposed to 100 years ago. I now consider myself a photographer, but I have not forgotten my past and sometimes do incorporate mixed media into my photographic work.
